Ms. Bankey, Ms. Embury, Ms. Homan, and Mr. Lusk's classes all teamed up to create the 5th grade class song. There are 3 verses, each written at different times of the year. The first verse was written within the first few weeks of school, when they were brand new to 5th Grade. The second verse was done in January, once they had their feet on the ground and the year was, as they say in the song, at it's 'peak'. The third and final verse was written a month before school was out and reflects how they feel about the big transition out of Pattengill and in to middle school. Each verse moves up in key to create a feeling of growth. There are over 60 voices in this recording!
